s Barça kicked off on Sunday against Getafe, the noise was deafening. "Messi! Messi! Messi!" screamed fans around me, as they tried to catch the attention of a man 50 metres away with a game of football to concentrate on. I relinquished my usual seat in the press box to take my two daughters to sit in a stand where the La Liga leaders sell tickets to football tourists, a key part of their business plan. The experience was like none other that I've ever had watching football, the opposite of growing up in northern England watching football surrounded by miserable men.
